Thomas Kincade, M.D.

Dr. Thomas Kincade has been practicing ophthalmology in a private practice setting for more than 25 years, including examining patients in East Brunswick, N.J. Shamim Eye Care welcomes all of Dr. Kincade's former and new patients to our office in Somerset, NJ.

 
Dr. Kincade received his UNDERGRADUATE TRAINING at Princeton University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with High Honors in 1972.
 
Dr. Kincade attended the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he received his DOCTOR OF MEDICINE degree in 1976. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
 
Dr Kincade has also practiced AEROSPACE MEDICINE as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon and Conducts FAA Medical Examinations of private and commercial pilots. Dr. Kincade himself is a COMMERCIAL PILOT and FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR.
 
Dr. Kincade received his OPHTHALMOLOGIC TRAINING AT THE University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Prior to practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Kincade completed PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENCY TRAINING in 1980 and maintained a private psychiatric practice before entering the specialty of ophthalmology. His psychiatric experience has helped him to be sensitive to the emotional needs and concerns of his patients with ocular disorders.
